Electrode for ozonizer

Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled small-sized electrode having superior durability and along service life by forming a cylindrical electrode made of electrically conductive ceramics above one side of a dielectric substrate and a plane induction electrode made of electrically conductive ceramics or a metal on the other side. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical electrode 1 of 0.5-4mm major axis size of the cross-section made of electrically conductive ceramics contg. >=30vol.% one or more kinds of compds. selected among the borides, carbides and nitrides of the groups IVa and V transition metals and having 10<3>OMEGA<-1>.cm<-1> electrical conductivity at 20 deg.C is formed above one side of a dielectric substrate 3 at 0-2mm interval (l). A plane induction electrode 2 of 0.01-1mm thickness made of electrically conductive ceramics or a metal such as Zr is formed on the other side.
