Preparation of seasoned tangle flake

Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare seasoned tangle flakes having a quality comparable or superior to hand-made tangle flakes, by spraying an aqueous solution composed of vinegared water and a seasoning against finely chopped machine-made tangle flakes and controlling the water-content of the tangle. CONSTITUTION: Machine-made tangle flakes chopped to 2W10mm, preferably 2W5mm are sprayed with mist of an aqueous solution prepared from vinegared water and a seasoning and are stirred uniformly until the tangle flakes are swollen to a water-content of 40W45%.
